Wednesdays In A Cafe

I’ve found so many amazing creators and small businesses who make incredible things connected to the things I love. But they are often product based. Ie. Candle company, necklace company, t-shirts, art prints, etc. They often start with one fandom and they grow and adapt as their interests adapt. I, however, seem to want to shop or create, not based on a product or specific fandom, but based on vibe. I also love the intersection between two interests more than a single interest itself.

There's so much joy in having products and merchandise around you! Although this started Taylor Swift merch shop, it became obvious that as much as I love her music, I was more inspired by the connections between her lyrics and my other interests.
For example, I love IBYTAM, but a Pride and Prejudice IBYTAM combo? #obsessed
or how about RunXObiWan? just *chefs kiss*

I don’t want to surround myself with products just to fill up my shelves with reminders of past interests. I want to weave pieces of the things I love into my life to remind me how they feel made me feel.
